• Traditional Irish Music Session at The Riverside Country Inn Friday Feb. 26th - 7:00 PM Traditional Irish Music session consisting of jigs, reels and songs of the auld sod played on fiddle, tine whistle, concertina and bodhran (an Irish drum), at the Inn on the 4th Friday of each month.If you haven't seen the Inn you owe it to yourself. It's a beautifully restored hotel right out of another age. We're planning on starting at 7:00 and we'll go for as long as everybody wants to play. This is a byoG (Guinness) and invite as many folks, musicians and not as you can. Remember the 4th Friday of each month after that. Hope to see you there.

  • Writers Night Out Thurs. March 11th – 7 PM - Writers' Night Out is an informal workshop where writers share and then discuss their work with the group. All forms of writing are welcome. This is not performance or competition. It's all about useful feedback and meeting other writers in the area. Young writers are encouraged to come, as well as those


  • Stained Glass Make & Take Workshop Sat. March 13th – 10 am - $25 - Students will be making a beautiful springtime Daffodil. Materials included in the price.


  • Candle Making Class Tues. March 16th –– 6-9 PM - $25 – George & Sharon Godfrey from G&S Candles located here in Greensboro will teach students the process of candle making. Students will make 3 candle projects – a votive, pot of gold, and YES, an apple pie. For St. Patty’s day make a green votive w/carnation scent, a Pot of Gold, and an apple pie that looks good enough to eat.
